Introduction
Thank you for registering for the International Sleep Disorder Academy Congress / International Otology Disorder Academy Congress. Regardless of whether your registration is submitted by you or your proxy, the following Conferences Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to you and your participation in-person. “Attendee” for purposes of these Terms will include all participants at the Congress, including Exhibitors and Attendees. By participating in this Congress, you agree to these Terms so please read them carefully.
This Congress is organized by Paragon World Medical Events, which reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or deny access to any entity or individual.
Attendee Cancellation Policy
If circumstances change and you can no longer attend this conference, you may cancel your registration by providing written notice to the Congress Secretariat at secretariat@isda-academy.com
Our Attendee Cancellation Policy is outlined below.
Registrations may be refunded, or a ticket re-activated, if a cancellation is made in writing up to 30 calendar days prior to the in-person conferences start date. Cancellations received after the cancellation cut-off date or nonattendance will not be refunded and/or tickets will not be re-activated. For cancellations received after the cut-off date with a balance due, the registration amount remains due in full.
Please remember that cancelling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. Attendees are responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations.
Force Majeure
After the cancellation cut-off date, payments made are not refundable for any reason, including, but not limited to, failure to use congress attendance credentials due to illness or due to any event beyond the reasonable control of the parties, such as an act of God, natural disaster, travel-related problems, or an act of terrorism.
Substitution and Badge Policy
Substitution of registrations may be made at any time up to the Congress start date but must be approved and will be at Paragon World Medical Events’ discretion. Invitations that are part of an Association membership or invitational program are non-transferable and are ineligible for substitution. Please consult the Congress Secretariat with any questions.
Sharing of Attendee badges/credentials is not permitted at any time. Badges/credentials are issued to, and can be picked up by, and used only by the Attendee named in the registration. Proof of Registration will be required for each Attendee when collecting a badge onsite. Badges must be worn at all times during the Congress.
The Congress badge allows an Attendee entry to the overall Congress for Sleep Disorder Academy or Otology Disorder Academy sessions. Admission is subject to venue capacity and other requirements. For example, COVID-19 safety regulations and certain sessions may be restricted for venue capacity policy.
Group Discount Program
Group Discount requests must be made in writing and submitted to secretariat@isda-academy.com or secretariat@ioda-academy.com
Groups must consist of employees of the same organization and discounts only apply to the same congress. At those conferences where we offer the Group Discount Program, there is a limit of ??? Group Rate Discount complimentary registrations per organization per conference.
Only one discount may be applied to an individual registration. With the exceptions of the early bird discount, multiple discounts cannot be combined.
In order to receive the group discount and be admitted to the congress, all registrations must be paid in full. Cash and paid ticket registrations both qualify towards the group rate discount. Some restrictions may apply to ticket registrations. Contact the Congress Secretariat if you have questions.
Payment Terms
Currency Exchange Rate Disclaimer: Client/Cardholder confirms acknowledgment and acceptance of a potential gain/loss incurred by any adjustments made by their bank due to the currency exchange rate. Paragon World Medical Events will not be liable or responsible for any loss incurred by the Client/Cardholder from an adjustment made due to the currency exchange rate. Nor will Paragon World Medical Events pursue the Client/Cardholder for collection if that adjustment should be made in the Client’s/Cardholder’s favour.
Submission of a registration online, by phone or email, constitutes an official registration and intent to attend the Congress. Invoices are payable upon receipt, and full payment must be received in order to gain entry to the Congress. Until your payment is received you will not have access to pre-congress entitlements that you may be entitled to. Please note Paragon World Medical Events does not accept cash payments onsite at the Congress, unless required by law.
You agree that, in the unlikely event that Paragon World Medical events cannot resolve your payment issue and you dispute the credit card charge, your electronic statement may be used as evidence that said charge is valid and just.
Please contact Paragon World Medical Events for any further information or clarity on the above terms and conditions.
